You will play a part in the comprehensive maintenance of all the plant & equipment (P&E) in the department to ensure that the P&E are reliable, efficient and operational at all times. this function might require you to come in after working hours should the need arise. Your function will include:
» Carry out calibration of instruments such as the level sensors, pressure sensors, electromagnetic flowmeters.
» Attending to scheduled preventive maintenance of the Instrumentation & Control equipment in the pumping stations and tidal gate installations.
» Maintenance of SCADA systems in Catchment & Waterways Department. Familiar with managery Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and its components such as Remote Terminal Units and network equipment. Maintenance location includes the raw water pumping stations, pond stations, tidal gates and drainage pumping stations.
» Carry out programming and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers and communications network. Familiar with communications protocol such as MODBUS protocol. Able to read single line diagram and control drawings.
» Attending to breakdown of Instruments and SCADA equipment. Carry out troubleshooting and diagnosing of system faults.
» Supervision of Instrumentation & Control and SCADA projects. Able to communicate well and familiar with simple technical acronyms.
» Administrative work. Use of office software to procure materials and services.
» Assist to drive PUB vehicle whenever required
Requirements: » Diploma in Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent or at least 5 years of working practice in the operation and maintenance of the Instrumentation & Control equipment in the pumping stations and tidal gate installations
» practice in Cybersecurity, computer networking and firewall configuration is desired
» Possess class 3 driving license
