Job Role Responsibilities
Responsibilities: - You will be involved in the implementation of safety programs to promote safety awareness and commitment of employees and contractors.
Provide advice and support on all aspects of field safety to the line personnel in the execution of their work task.
Participate in work site safety inspection and observation on personnel safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, job safety analysis, major plant shutdown/turnaround incident investigation, analysis and stewardship reporting.
Qualification: - Diploma Holder or a Degree Holder in an engineering discipline. Preferably a Registered Safety Officer with the Ministry of Manpower.
- At least 3 years working experience in the Oil/Petrochemical or Process industries.
- Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.
- Knowledge of Singapore Statutes and its Subsidiary Legistration, and good Microsoft Office skills will be an advantage.
- Good communications, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
