function/JOB SUMMARY:

» We are seeking for a senior person, with a strong background in design and development of key equipment used in the manufacturing of high efficiency solar cells. ESSENTIAL tasks AND Job responsibilities:

» Understand REC’s technology roadmap and setup a corresponding roadmap for equipment development

» Setup a workshop to manufacture pilot tools

» Recruit and manage critical competences focused on equipment development

» Ensure equipment are in line with the latest industry performance standards

» Ensure safety during development and safety during operation of the equipment

» Identify and setup contracts with key local vendors

» Ensure highest level of confidentiality regarding equipment designs and team’s activities

» contact with REC’s Operations and Engineering team regularly to understand their changing requirements and incorporate them into the development of the equipment

» Plan and manage annual budget for the team ADDITIONAL Job responsibilities:

» Participate in REC Technology’s weekly management meetings and present regular status updates. Additional updates may be needed for other management level meetings

» contact regularly with REC Legal to align on any developments in the company or industry impacting REC patent portfolio AUTHORITIES:

» Candidate will be reporting to CTO REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND expertise:

Technical/ Professional:

» Bachelors/Masters Degree, with a minimum of 10 years of significant industry practice and minimum of 5 years of management practice required

» Prior practice in a solar cell equipment manufacturing company highly desirable

» Prior working practice with PVD, PECVD, Furnaces, Screen/Stencil printers, Chemical baths, automation etc. in an industrial environment highly desirable Technological:

» significant practice in the solar, semiconductor or microelectronics industry would be an advantage General:

» Excellent organizational expertise

» Attention to detail

» Strong computer and database expertise People/Relations:

» Versatile, be able to think and navigate quickly and possess a strong analytical mind to focus on core issues

» Able to work collaboratively across multiple functions, organizations and with a diverse group of colleagues and management

» Good communication expertise in English, both orally and in writing OTHER REQUIREMENTS

» Some travelling to is to be expected.
