Participate in project to coordinate and monitor day-to-day work progress for infrastructure deployment, including liaising with 3rd party / vendor during deployment
Perform hands-on installation, configuration, and upgrade of wide variety IT infrastructure devices and servers related hardware and software
Work closely with the Solution Architect, infrastructure teams and vendors to ensure successful deployment of target architecture and meeting the desired quality, performance, and security standard
Provide 24/7 primary standby support for infrastructure project and managed services
Perform incident management and problem management as part of operations
Create and maintain documentation regarding hardware & network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to hardware, software, network and security
Provide support during yearly DR drill
Requirements
Degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent
2 to 3 years of experience on server and network support at both 1st and 2nd level
Good technical knowledge with hands-on experience in Unix, Linux and Windows environment
Experience in Linux administration including patching, shell scripting
Good technical knowledge on virtualization
Good technical knowledge on Backup and recovery
Software installation and support experience
Strong analytical skill and able to work independently
Good problem solver and troubleshooting skill
Basic troubleshooting of network issues
Understanding in Middleware (JBOSS/ weblogic/ websphere/ Tomcat) will be an added advantage
AIX and RHEL certification will be an added advantage
Familiar with system security and VAPT will be added advantage
