JOB DESCRIPTION Job Purpose To perform / operate and carry out daily system-wide PE Structural inspection / bearing monitoring using Cherry Picker (CP), scaffolding & ladder, relevant Quality Procedures, Specifications & Standards, Work Safety requirements and Railway Operation procedures.
Key Role & Responsibilities
1. To perform / operate and carry out daily system wide PE Structural inspection / viaduct bearing monitoring using Cherry Picker (CP), scaffolding, VIW & ladder in accordance with the LTA CP1:2013, relevant Quality Procedures, Specifications & Standards, Work Safety requirements and Railway Operation procedures.
2. Carry-out viaduct structural inspection, noise barrier inspection, slope inspections etc. – a system-wide inspection by in-house teams include remove wild vegetation, tighten loosen C-fascia’s bolt nuts and any other defects that need quick fixes found at the viaduct walkway, parapet wall & STR items which require to be removed immediately for safety.
3. Carry-out the role of PIC duties and responsibilities.
4. Attend staff training as per LNA for training development to improve productivity and safety
5. Key-in SAP entries for capturing of maintenance orders, applying permit to work and preparing work attendance record.
6. Investigate on incident and follow-up actions on the recommendation to prevent recurrence.
7. Attend to faults / compliant etc. including rectification works.
8. Attend inspection for taking over of new areas that are upgraded by LTA or adjacent developer.
9. Care, control and custody of all the hand tools and equipment.
Relevant Work Experience Required
Have work experiences in Building Maintenance works. Able to communicate effectively with contractors and good team player
