JOB DESCRIPTION Key Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive/corrective maintenance works on Escalators and Platform Screen Doors.
- Attend to equipment faults to ensure service availability of equipments is met.
- Ensure works are conducted accordingly to Quality Procedures, Work Instructions and Risk Assessments.
- Assist in site investigation and tests.
- PIC to supervise contractors in company premises.
Requirements - Minimum NITEC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- 3 –5 years experience in maintenance of electrical/mechanical machinery/equipment. Preferably in lift/escalator industry.
- Able to work in fast paced environment with changing priorities.
- Able to read simple electrical circuitry and engineering drawing.
- Willing to work in 3 rotating shifts.
- Able to troubleshoot and diagnose simple technical faults effectively under minimal/no supervision in at least 1 type of escalator (OTIS 510/513) and 1 type of platform screen doors (pneumatic/electric)
