JOB DESCRIPTION Job Purpose To lead and manage 4 teams comprising of Assistant Engineers (AE) and Technical Officers (TO) for carrying out daily policing at stations for works carried out by Cleaning, Pest Controls, Landscape and Refuse Disposal Contractors as well as building-related maintenance activities and to ensure that all works are carried out are in accordance with the relevant Quality Procedures, Specifications & Standards, Work Safety requirements and Railway Operation
Key Role & Responsibilities
1. To lead and manage 4 teams comprising of AEs & TOs for performing and carrying out daily policing to stations for works done by cleaning, pest controls, landscape and refuse disposal contractors and to ensure that all works are carried out are in accordance with the relevant Quality Procedures, Specifications & Standards, Work Safety requirements and Railway Operation procedures
2. Attend inaugural meeting and post award meeting
3. Administration of the maintenance service contracts works, incident reports and conduct regular meeting with contractors
4. Taking over of new areas in stations that are upgraded by LTA or developer
5. To motivate a group of AEs & TOs in delivering productivity and customer satisfaction service.
6. To communicate all approved method statements, risk assessments, and materials used for cascade down to direct subordinates to achieve quality supervision and high standard
7. To take charge of safety, welfare, attendance, disciplinary matters, training, etc of the direct work force
8. To check and verify the direct staff time sheets, overtime claims, transport claims, medical claims, etc
9. Conduct regular meetings and toolbox briefing with staff
Relevant Work Experience Required
Have 6-years working experience in railway infrastructures maintenance.
Process computer knowledge.
Process soft skill in leading and motivating subordinates with ability to give firm and decisive instructions.
Willing to work odd hours and respond to urgent calls around the clock.
Technical Training Requirements
Technician Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering.
Knowledge in SAP PM , Maximo and applications system is an added advantage
