Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION Job responsibilities:
- The individual will be involved in the entire product development life cycle activities from defining the functional / technical specification, design, implementation till release in conformity industrial product development processes.
- The individual will be required to consistently meet project deliverables with high quality and to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
o Strong passion in embedded engineering. Have strong desired for continuous improvement in applying best practice and modern technologies in embedded design and processes.
o Be able to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and changes in strategies.
o Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Open-minded, a availability to experiment within acceptable boundaries and a creative mind to bring novel solutions into design and problem-solving.
o A detailed oriented individual.
o Have good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with another cross-functional team in multi-cultural environment.
Required Special Skills: o Solid practice in embedded software product development.
o Have strong expertise and practiced in developing embedded software using C programming language. Preferably have also practiced in Object Oriented C++.
o Have solid expertise and development practice on 32 bits ARM Microcontroller boot process and low-level device drivers.
o Have solid expertise in RTOS and have practiced in developing embedded application using RTOS.
o Have expertise and practiced in TCP/IP or any other Communication / Industrial Protocol. expertise in IO-Link will be advantage.
o practiced in developing Design document for firmware/embedded software. Have expertise in different established design techniques and design patterns.
o Good expertise and practiced of SCRUM / Agile process, static analysis tool and Version Control tools (e.g. Clearcase, Git) will be an advantage.
o practiced in solving complex problems. practice in using different hardware-assisted debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer etc).
o Have expertise in Secure Coding CERT C/C++ Standard.
o Have expertise or practiced in Functional Safety Development processes (e.g IEC 61508) will be an advantage.
