As a Sales Operations Manager, you will act as a trusted adviser to executives in the global sales and operations team. You will be responsible for cracking the most important strategic issues facing our marketing solutions business as well as maintaining the operational cadence for a fast growing region. The ideal candidate will be passionate about LinkedIn, have a strong growth oriented mindset, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities: - Lead projects with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to make data-driven decisions on topics including: sales incentive design, forecast modeling, territory optimization, product mix analysis, resource planning, and process improvement
- Partner closely with sales leadership to shape and drive the go to market strategy, structure rep territories, and set targets/quotas accordingly to accelerate our growth trajectory
- Support the country director in developing and communicating a consistent vision and focus across the sales team and cross-functional partners
- Identify, scope, and drive regional / local projects and initiatives with cross-functional teams to help optimize sales performance
- Lead operational reviews and track performance on regional goals and priorities
- Establish strong working relationships with business operations, sales management and systems teams to achieve objectives without management involvement
- Travel required (approximately 4-5 trips a year)
Basic Qualifications: - BA/BS degree in business or related field
- 4+ years of experience in management consulting, sales operations or investment banking
Preferred Qualifications: - MA/MS/MBA degree in business or related field
- 3+ years of experience working in the media industry or in sales organizations
- Experience with financial modeling and data analysis
- Experience with Salesforce.com, SQL/relational databases, Hadoop and reporting tools like Tableau
- Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
- Excellent communication, project and time management, writing and presentation skills with the ability to confidently interact with senior management
- Ability to see the insights beyond the numbers to drive sound decision making
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment, and be comfortable with ambiguity
