Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Lead in the preparation & implementation of product programs
- Engage business partners in regular asset quality reviews with provision of analytics insights to identify risks/ opportunities and recommend relevant actions
- Review credit policies and program risk acceptance criteria regularly, with timely updates for proactive adaptation to changes in legal /regulatory requirements, business strategies, market environment or portfolio performance
- Drive portfolio management initiatives through the credit cycle management framework by working in partnership with product managers, credit approval team, credit operations team and collection team
- Ensure adequate awareness of key risk controls in credit processes
- Work in partnership with credit systems support team to implement key credit policy criteria in relevant credit acceptance & evaluation systems
- Lead and mentor team members to ensure they stay engaged, grow in their personal learning journey and work as a team to meet team deliverables
Requirements - Degree in any related field.
- At least 10 years of exposure in consumer credit/lending, with focus on unsecured lending and data analytics skill and ability. Experience in secured lending would be an added advantage.
- All-round understanding of consumer loan products and credit cycle management framework, including product structure/packaging, regulatory requirements, consumer lending business & market dynamics, key risk & revenue drivers, product profitability, performance analysis.
- Good understanding of the mechanics and usage of statistical models/scorecards for consumer products.
- Good understanding of key control processes and able to identify internal process gaps to achieve timely resolutions.
- Programming skills such as SAS, Python, VBA and SPSS.

- Team player and good interpersonal and people management skills.
- Able to engage cross-functional team to work on tasks.
