Responsibilities - Review sanctions related cases escalated by Business Lines / Middle Office and Compliance to provide AML/CFT/Sanction compliance guidance to Relationship Managers in accordance with the Bank's defined policies and guidelines
- Analyse Suspicious Transaction Reporting cases and provide guidance to Relationship Managers
- Ensuring CDD reviews conducted as a result of trigger events are adequate
- Support Team Lead in the development and conduct of AML/Sanctions related trainings
- Conduct learning review (assurance testing) on Business Units to ensure adherence to the Bank's policies and developing learning points from issues identified from such reviews
- Participating in Thematic Reviews and financial crime Investigations

Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor degree or equivalent relevant working experience.
- For Analyst role, minimum 1-2 years; for Associate role, minimum 3-4 years, for Senior Associate role, minimum 4-5 years and for AVP, minimum 6-7 years of relevant experience in financial services.
- AVP applicant would be advantageous to have at least 2-3 years of people management experience
- AML/Sanction/KYC/Transaction Monitoring/Investigations related knowledge would be an advantage
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Able to apply technical knowledge and make sound judgements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relationship management skills to enable effective cross-functional communication with Front-line staff and Compliance
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others
