ABOUT OUR CLIENT: Our client is a European Private Bank looking to hire a Securities Sales Director in Private Banking.
ABOUT THIS ROLE: This role sits within the Treasury & Trading (T&T) department of the bank and this candidate will lead and supervise the Securities Sales team in the region, provide Securities Advisory, handle and execute orders relating to Securities products, respond to queries coming from Securities Direct Access Clients (DAC) and Front Office (RM, CRA, IC, IA) and participate in ad-hoc projects and business development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - The incumbent will provide management oversight for Securities Sales activity
- Responsible for developing and delivering propositions designed to improve existing Securities Sales operations and offering
- Responsible for team management and development, including performance management, training and resourcing matters
- Provide market colour, market updates, news-alerts, securities outlook; produce timely & concise daily securities market commentaries and Securities trade ideas for distribution to Front Office
- Will be working with the Hong Kong and Singapore booked Securities DAC clients
- Provides execution service to Securities DAC clients and Front Office for Equity and Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income and Fixed Income Derivatives, Structured Products
- Comply with the relevant laws, regulations and guidelines issue by HKMA and MAS or any other regulating authority
- Work closely with all internal stakeholders in the bank locally and globally and with brokers and counterparties to deal products within the bank's Approved Product List
QUALIFICATIONS - You must have a managerial and leadership skills; efficient, accurate and methodical organization skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure and foster teamwork

- FMRP
- CMFAS Module 1b and Module 5
- CACS Paper 1 and 2
