Job Description You will be responsible for the following: » Develop and maintain Android applications (mobile and tablet) using Java
» Facilitate the troubleshooting and resolving of pre and post-production issues
» Assist with various stages of the mobile application development lifecycle such as requirements gathering, user interface design and uscapability testing
» Keep abreast of the latest in mobile technology and conduct research and prototyping using such technologies
» Write presentation-tier HTML/CSS/JavaScript, using libraries and plug-ins where necessary
Required expertise
» Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.
» At least 1 year of hands-on practice developing and implementing mobile applications for Android using Android Studio
» practice in various aspects of the Agile SDLC including application development (application structure, operating system API's, debugging, performance, security) and deployment
» practice in working with small to medium development teams using Agile Methodology
» practice in mobile web development using HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus
» expertise and/or practice in iOS development is a plus
» expertise and/or practice in mobile backend development is a plus
Preferred expertise - SCRUM Master
» First / Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)
» practice playing the Scrum Master function for at least one to two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
» expertise of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
» expertise and/or practice with widely prosperous Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
» practice in creating / maintaining/conducting Estimation models, Burn down charts, Retrospective meetings and handling bugs.
» Previous practice as a team lead
» Excellent communication and mentoring expertise
